1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.

The glitterblade is a sword not unlike a rapier, to the point where rapier specific feats and abilities work with the glitterblade, and it can be used as a martial weapon as a normal rapier. However those with appropriate proficiency can make use of its unique abilities, specifically its transparent non-stick coating on its blade (keeping the surface clean and pristine) and its complex flower-like arrangement of glassy petals for a hilt, which shine and shimmer brightly. The glitterblade, true to its name, reflects light easily and its unique fighting style associated with it uses a combination of the flashing blade and the mirror-like hardened sapphire glass petals to dazzle and confuse their opposition.

As the rapier, you can use the Weapon Finesse feat to apply your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier to attack rolls with a rapier sized for you, even though it isn’t a light weapon for you. You can’t wield a rapier in two hands in order to apply 1-1/2 times your Strength bonus to damage.

Those with the appropriate weapon proficiency can add their Dexterity to damage in place of their Strength, and gain access to the following Weapon Arts as long as you are in normal illumination or brighter:

Blinding Pose: As an standard action you can aim the light into your opponents eyes. Make a ranged touch attack out to 60 ft. The creature must make a Reflex save or be blinded for 1 round. Even on a successful save they still suffer a 20% miss chance from the glare. The DC is 10 + 1/2 BAB + your ability modifier for attack rolls.

Bright Feint: You can feint with this weapon as a move action, or as a swift action if you possess Improved Feint.

Dazzling Display: Any creature you successfully hit in combat is automatically dazzled.

Deflect Light: If targeted by a [Light] effect you may make an attack roll as an immediate action. This result is your dispel check to dismiss the [Light] effect against you. You can also dismiss pre-existing [Light] effects as well as a standard action, but only if the weapon is also made magical.

Holding this weapon as a focus while using any [Pattern] effect increases the DC by +1.
