Hey, this is my song!
This set of colorful headphones has no wires, only a set of buttons to record and replay. It can be set to record any body of music and then replay it in stunning quality and sound. Its storage provides enough space for 1000 hours of music, more than you'll ever need. The music doesn't do anything for you, and any special qualities of the song (such as bardic music) is lost so it's mostly convenient and stylish. Toggling it on and off is a free action.
The headphone provides some ear protection, granting a +2 circumstance bonus to saving throws against sonic effects, language-dependent Effects, and effects which cause deafness. However they muffle sound, resulting in a -4 penalty on Listen checks. If the music is turned on and high, the bonus to saves becomes +6 but the Listen penalty becomes -10, and the user suffers from the "What'd You Say?" flaw.
