Heresiarch

It is very unusual for a False Prophet to come from the ranks of a deity's clergy. However sometime a cleric become disillusioned or convinced or a falsehood in the doctrine, if these clerics are allowed to bloom they may become heresiarch. An Heresiarch is the originator of an heresy, and through it they gain their own divine powers even without the approval of their patron. Sometime heresiarch are clerics other deities or even fiend worshipers who work as undercover clerics and fool the general populace as well as other cleric for their dark master.

Class: False Prophet

Prerequisites: Must be able to cast 3rd level spells.

Level: 1st-10th

Replaces: Leech Divinity, Spellcasting

Benefit: An Heresiarch gain the following benefits:

Prerequisite Change: An heresiarch ignore the special clause in order to enter the False Prophet prestige class.

Spellcasting: At each level, you gain new spells per day and an increase in caster level (and spells known, if applicable) as if you had also gained a level in a spellcasting class to which you belonged before adding the prestige class level. You do not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. If you had more than one divine spellcasting class before becoming a Heresiarch, you must decide to which class to add each level for the purpose of determining spells per day, caster level, and spells known.

Stolen Divinity: The Heresiarch no longer need to be within one step of his deity's alignment in order to be granted spellcasting and cannot lose his spellcasting because of his action.

Heretical Doctrine: A 3rd, 6th and 9th level Heresiarch gain an additional domain, however this domain must be one NOT normally granted by 'his god' or philosophy. If the Heresiarch is from a spontaneous spellcasting class he add the domain's spells to his spell known whenever he gain access to the correct spell level.
