Infernal Lash

A searing chain wrapped itself to the paladin's leg, holding it in place while scorching it.

From the point you choose (ground, wall, ceiling or any other unattended object), an infernal chain juts out, wrapping itself to the target, if it does not pass a Reflex save. The chain does 2d4 of magical slashing damage, that overcomes good and chaotic damage reduction, +1 point of vile damage to the target, repeated each round if the target moves from its square. It also entangles it and reduces its movement to a 10 feet radius (3 meters) from the point the chain appeared. A character so trapped may try a Strength or Escape Artist check to free itself (DC is the spell's DC), resulting in itself suffering damage again.

If you cast this spell multiple times on an opponent, with careful positioning of the chains, it may be forced to stay in its square and it must free itself from each individual chain. You may only trap an opponent up to one size larger than yourself. A bigger opponent just receives the damage once, with a Reflex save to negate it.
