Appearing to be a slice of a gelatinous cube turned into a tower shield, the jelly shield can be seen through and its flexible nature reduces its armor check penalty to merely -5. It can also be used to shield bash as if you possessed the Tower Bash feat, though all other penalties apply. It deals half bludgeoning and half acid damage. If you have the Tower Bash feat or otherwise are able to make shield bash attacks with tower shields, it deals damage once size larger and gains a x3 critical multiplier.
The jelly shield comes with an extraordinary Arrow Deflection ability, as it devours incoming ranged projectiles.
The jelly shield cannot damage oozes, but it can come into physical contact with oozes without damage to itself. If damaged, it recovers 1 hp every hour until healed.
