This +2 heavy shield is not metallic, allowing druids to wield them normally. When the user is holding the shield and exposed to natural daylight he gains fast healing 1 from the photosynthesis. You gain DR 5/- against the attacks of any plant-type creatures, so long as you recieve your shield bonus to AC. In addition, it provides an effective airfoil giving an extraordinary feather fall effect. Using this ability spins you chaotically downward however, making you unable to attack while falling, and leaving you sickened for 1 round after landing.
