Lingering[edit]
Lingering attacks leave a cloud of phantom damage which continue to deal damage to those which remain in the area. When a weapon strikes its target, a 5 ft square is filled with ethereal mist which does not obscure sight, but does display phantom images of the attack being repeated by ghostly copies of your weapon. Any creature who ends their turn or passes through this mist takes half the damage of the attack that created the mist. Multiple attacks overlap, dealing the highest damage. They do not stack. The mist lasts for 1 round, and can be dispersed by the wind.
