Mad Beast

The curse of lycanthropy is akin to an illness that bore deep in the mind of those afflicted. Some hold the urges in, trying to be model citizens during the day and locking themselves in at night. Others revel in their urges, becoming a serial killer at night and using the veil of innocence as a shield.

Class: SlayerPathfinder

Prerequisites: Skinwalker race, Lycanthrope or similar creatures

Level: 1st, 4th, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th

Replaces: Studied Target (Altered), Track (Altered), 4th level Slayer Talents

Benefit: A Mad Beast gain the following class features:

Manhunter (Ex): At 1st level, a mad beast’s studied target bonuses and the DCs of his slayer abilities increase by 1 against humanoid opponents, but decrease by 1 against non-humanoid targets. She cannot have nonhumanoid studied target until she reaches 5th level.

This does not apply against creatures that have seen her transform in her beast form. At 10th level the mad beast is under the effect of undetectable alignment as long as she stays in human form.

Mutilating Strike* (Ex): A mad beast can use her superior power and beastly nature cripple her targets, allowing her to quickly finish it off... or perhaps to toy with it further. A 4th level mad beast gains the mutilating strike unique slayer talent. A creature that takes sneak attack damage from a mad beast must make a successful a Fortitude save (DC = 10 + 1/2 the mad beast’s class level + her Intelligence modifier) or be left Staggered for 1 round and take 1 point of Strength or Dexterity damage of the mad beast's choice. No matter if the save is a success or failure, a creature can only be affected by Mutilating Strike only once per round.

Relentless Pursuer (Ex): At 5th level, while transformed in her beast form a mad beast gains a +10 bonus to her land speed when she moves toward her studied target. This bonus improves by +10 at 10th level and each 5 levels thereafter.

Dedicated Killer (Ex): At 5th level, 10th level, 15th level and 20th level a mad beast does not gain the ability to study an additional target.
