Mini wings is a catch-all term for the grafted wings of any creature which are typically much smaller than the graft receiver, such as gaining imp wings on a human sized creature. Such a graft seems little more than cosmetic at first, but they do serve a limited purpose. Grafted creatures can glide at a speed of 20 ft (average) for every 5 ft they drop. In addition with effort they can propel themselves through the air with a fly speed equal to their land speed (clumsy), but only for a number of rounds equal to their Constitution bonus (minimum +1). After which, they cannot use their flight again for 1 minute. If they push themselves and attempt to fly longer before they rest for a minute, they can fly up to twice as long but are fatigued afterward, or three times as long and are exhausted afterward. They cannot fly for more than 3 times their Con modifier no matter how hard they try.
If unconscious or falling, the grafted creature's wings snap open reducing falling damage to a maximum of 2d6.
The wings are small enough to fold up tight on the back and are easily concealed, but cannot be used if concealed under clothing in this manner.
Mini wings function only when applied to living creatures; applied to non-living creature and they rot away over the course of 2d4 days. During construction, spells are employed to bind flesh and nerves, but once applied it is forever a mundane part of the creature.
