"I have refined this technique a thousandfold, truly I shall be able to cut tanks in half with my deadly monomolecular blade!"
As you manifest this power you create a monomolecular blade of ectoplasm and force base of your wrist, safely wrapping your hands. You make a single weapon attack that is resolved as a touch attack as you manifest this power, dealing 5d8 slashing damage to the struck target. A monomolecular blade counts as a magic and adamantine weapon for the purpose of bypassing damage reduction, this is in addition to it normal damage reduction ignoring capacities. After the attack the monomolecular blade snaps, and vanishes into smoking ectoplasm.
The monomolecular blade ignores 5 points of DR and 5 points of hardness, and since its a force effect it can strike incorporeal creatures. A creature slain by monomolecular is bisected, decapitated or cut in pieces, making their body unsuitable for raise dead.
Augment: You can augment this power in one or more of the following ways
1. For every additional power point you spend, this power’s damage increases by 1d8 points and the amount of DR and hardness it ignores increases by 1.
2. For 2 additional power points you spend, you may have your monomolecular blade become a monomolecular whip, This grants it 15 feet of reach, but otherwise acts the same.
3. For 2 additional power points you spend, you may charge your monomolecular blade with deadly psionic energy which alloys you to cleave through your opposition. You may attack five consecutive squares within your reach, a creature occupying multiple squares is only struck once. You need need to roll attack for each target, but only need to roll damage once.
