Orb of Environmental Exposure[edit]

Appearing as a basketball sized crystal ball which projects an image of the sky outside (be it clear, stormy, or otherwise), when active it gives off a faint head and glow, and winds seem to whip tightly over its surface.

Conditions inside the room it is placed take on properties of the exposed surface of the world, being effected by weather and precipitation as if it were there. This applies even if the room is deep underground or in the air. Creatures passing through this patch of land on the surface do not show up in the room, just weather conditions.

The orb is often used for internal greenhouses in places otherwise inhospitable for growing natural products. The orb does not function outside of a room, or if a room is greater than 1000 ft wide, long, and tall.

Strong conjuration; CL 13th; Craft Wondrous Item, control weather; Price 2,500 gp.
