Planesignet Ring[edit]

Signet rings are adorned with heraldry identifying the bearer as a member of importance, and the Planesignet Ring serves the same function. Unique to the Planesignet Ring is the multifaceted jewel embedded within which anyone with 1 rank in Knowledge The Planes or Knowledge Royalty can use to determine the plane of origin and somethings specific details of the plane. The secrets are written in the pattern of the cut, the color of the jewel, and the way it reflects lights. Good aligned planes have rounded shapes and cool colors. Lower planes have jagged shapes and warm colors. Lawful planes only come in mathematically precise cuts, while chaotic planes take on abnormal shapes and rainbow hues. Neutral planes favor neutral colors, and the inner planes appear to contain a small amount of their component element within their jewel. In spite of their beauty, Planesignet Rings are only slightly more valuable than normal signet rings, generally costing 10g.
