Potion of Suicidal Rage[edit]
This potion is bright red and seems to be warm to the touch, always simmering and on the threat of boiling away. It gives off a hot spicy smell which makes you slightly ill. When drunk, this potion fills you with rage for a short time. However the side effects are draining.
Upon imbibing the potion, the drinker goes into a rage as a 1st level barbarian, gaining all the penalties and benefits. However at the end of the rage, the drinker immediately takes 2 ability burn to Strength and Constitution in addition to the usual fatigue. It is commonly used by soldiers as a last-ditch effort before a suicidal charge.
When drunk by a barbarian, they gain +2 additional Str and Con and +1 additional Will. This does not count towards their rages per day, and they still take the ability burn afterward.
You cannot benefit from the potion if you are immune to ability burn.
