Gain a long flexible tail which can manipulate objects.

Unlike most grafts, the prehensile tail is added to the body at the base of the spine. This long flexible tail has a three pronged split tip which can act as a third hand. However skills performed with the hand take a -2 penalty, and any weapons wielded in the hand take a -4 penalty unless you have Exotic Weapon Proficiency (prehensile tail). The existence of a tail does give a +4 bonus on Balance checks.

Technically the body can host more than one tail. However each time a new prehensile tail is added the price increases by 50% (then 100%, 200%, 400%, and so forth) to account for the increased difficulty in synchronizing the tail with the body.

During construction, spells are employed to reconfigure the body, but once applied it is forever a mundane part of the creature.

Graft Flesh (Any), grasping hand; Price 18,000 gp
