Project Patron[edit]

I always liked 5e concept of warlocks, especially patrons. Thus, I've already added multiple options to implement and gain patrons into the 3.5 edition.

The concept revolves around gaining access to new invocations, either automatically or as an eligible option, and some other minor powers.

Warlocks may gain access to special invocations, from which to choose from, if they pledge allegiance to one particular eldritch patron.

A warlock may have only a patron at any given time. Each patron grants four special invocations to choose, which would be normally unavailable to a warlock. You are not obliged to learn them, but why choose a patron then?

You may roleplay the process to gain a patron or give it by virtue of a feat, flaw or trait.
