A brand of the popular soft drink Popsi, it was unpopular and discontinued until it gained a surprising cult following and it was brought back onto the market. While a refreshing and surprisingly clear-colored cola, it is imbued with tiny psionic flavor crystals mixed in and carbonated. They come in white cans with blue stripes, and a purple and gold yin-yang pattern on front, typically made out of aluminum, with a pull tab on top. Others come in clear plastic bottles with screw tops.
When drunk, psicrystal popsi grants 5 temporary power points to any psionic creature for 1 minute. Temporary power points overlap, they do not stack. While under its effects, you feel what has been described as "carbonation inside of your brain", applying a -2 penalty on any mental ability check, skill check, or power DC from the distraction.

Expired Popsi[edit]
As mentioned before, Popsi had a previous run before it was eventually canceled, then rebooted. These old, expired cans of soda still exist in lost corners of the multiverse, and some people trade or collect them. Those are the sane ones. The insane ones drink them. They have kept well, so to speak, but have a few flaws beyond flat soda and stale chemical taste. Expired popsi only gives 2 temporary power points, and have an additional side effect. The drinker is sickened for 1d4 rounds. If you drink while sickened, you are nauseated for the duration instead.
Expired popsi costs 20 gp.
