Psychocognizant[edit]

The Psychic Triad exist as an ideal, each of it components discipline are based on primal concepts and refined with mastery. However we must not forget the importance of the other disciplines, only a fool would underestimate a Nomad's ability to bend space, or a Shaper's construction. Ultimately, mastery of the Triad is the true path to power, as long as it does not lead to the rejection of the other disciplines.

The schools of psionic metaphysics are rare and a difficult to find, also more often than not extremely exclusive. More often than not it is the result of a powerful psychic who decided to share their personal brand of enlightenment. The school of psychocognizant thoughts come from the thoughts of a contemplative psychic who saw the disciplines of Clairsentience, Psychokinesis and Telepathy as both the most refined but also as the first. While not outright rejecting the other discipline, they greatly focus on what they call the Psychic Triad, and refine their ability to use it. However the process to refining the Psychic Triad is harsh on one's health and many end up dying in the process of attempting to gain such enlightenment.

Becoming a Psychocognizant[edit]

Entry Requirements  
Skills: Autohypnosis 9 Ranks, Psicraft 9 Ranks. 
Feats: Overchannel*, Psionic Meditation, Skill Focus (Psicraft), Talented*. 
Manifesting: Must know and be able to manifest power of the clairsentience discipline, psychokinesis discipline and telepathy discipline of 3rd level or higher.. 
Class Feature: *A character with the Wild Surge class features do not need these feats to qualify. 
Special: Must have spent 30 days meditating on one's own psionic power without any physical activities or movement. The session need not to be consecutive, but must be taken in 12 hours segments.

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Psychocognizant.

Manifesting: At each level, you gain power points per day, an increase in manifester level, and new powers as if you had also gained a level in a manifesting class to which you belonged before adding the prestige class level. You do not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. If you had more than one manifesting class before becoming a psychocognizant, you must decide to which class to add each level for the purpose of determining powers, manifester level, and powers known.

If the Psychocognizant was a Wilder she add her class level to her Wilder level for the purpose of determining her Wild Surge bonus, but not any other class features.

Discipline Access: A 1st level Psychocognizant gain access to either the Kineticist Discipline List, Seer Discipline List or Telepath Discipline List when picking her power known.

Extra Power Known: At 1st level and each odd level thereafter, a psychocognizant gain an additional power point known in addition to whatever power known her class grant her. Unless the powers are from the clairsentience discipline, psychokinesis discipline or telepathy discipline they must be one level lower than the highest power the psychocognizant can manifest. Otherwise the powers granted by this ability follow the same rule as the power normally granted by the class that is advanced by psychocognizant.

Intense Focus: A Psychocognizant absolute focus cause her to suffer when it come to all other disciplines. She must spend an additional power point manifesting any power not in the clairsentience discipline, psychokinesis discipline or telepathy discipline, this increase by 1 at 3rd, 6th and 9th. These extra points do not count against her manifester level limit for the purpose of augmented and are spent as the power is manifested as extra.

Scorn Ground (Su): A 1st level Psychocognizant often eschew physical activities such as walking. She gain a Hover speed equal to her base land speed with a maneuverability of perfect. She also gain psionic levitate (self only) as a supernatural ability at-will.

Endowed Brain (Ex): As long as she is psionically focused, a 2nd level psychocognizant gain 1 temporary power point at the start of each of her turn, this temporary power point last until the start of her next turn and do not stack with other sources of temporary power points.

At 8th level she gain 2 temporary power points instead of one.

Efficient Manifester (Ex): When a 3rd level psychocognizant manifest a power of the clairsentience discipline, psychokinesis discipline or telepathy discipline she reduce the cost of manifesting that power by 1 (to a minimum of 1). This ability does not allow you to augment a power more than you would normally be able to augment it, it simply reduce the final consumption of power points.

At 6th level she reduce the cost of manifesting those powers by 2 points instead. At 9 level she reduce the final cost by 3 instead.

Brain Surge (Ex): At 4th level, whenever a Psychocognizant use Overchannel or Wild Surge on a power of the clairsentience discipline, psychokinesis discipline or telepathy discipline she increase her manifester level by 1.

Psychic Triad (Ex): A 10th level Psychocognizant combine the three primal disciple in a way others cannot imagine. As a full-round action she may manifest two powers, each powers must be clairsentience, psychokinesis or telepathy powers and be one level lower than the highest power the psychocognizant can manifest. You only need to pay to manifest the highest level power, however you must augment both separately.

Using this ability cause the psychocognizant to become Exhausted for 1d4+1 round, she also lose 1 power points per level of the highest power manifested. This only happen if she successful manifest the power. The psychocognizant cannot use Psychic Triad while Exhausted.
