Quantum Lock
Transmutation
Level: Sorcerer/Wizard 1

Range: Touch
Target: One unattended non-magical object up to 25 lbs/level
Duration: Concentration + 1 round/level (D)
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No

The bowling ball lay suspended in mid air, no strings could be seen.

You quantum lock an object in place up to 25 lbs/level. It does not move, ignoring gravity and resisting forces to move it out of position. A Strength check of DC 5 + your caster level is required to move the object, and the object moves at half speed for the duration unless the DC is exceeded by 10 or more points (this ends the spell). It can hold up to a weight of 25 lbs/level as well if the object is being used as a platform.

If you wish, a command word can lock and unlock an object in space during its duration.

This spell can be made permanent with the permanency spell at a cost of 500 xp.
