Quartz Wraps are a matched pair of Handwraps, made from a flexible crystalline material; They're very hard when struck, yet malleable enough to be wrapped around the hands without restricting movement. In bright light, they glitter as the light reflects off of thousands of faceted surfaces.

Unarmed strikes made with Quartz Wraps deal an additional 1d6 points of Piercing damage, as some of the sharp facets briefly elongate on impact.

Additionally, once per round when you land a successful hit with an unarmed strike enhanced by Quartz Wraps, you gain a +1d4 bonus to AC, as a thin armor of crystalline force spreads across your body from the Wraps. This bonus to AC lasts until the start of your next turn, or until you take damage other than Psychic damage, and does not stack with the AC granted by spells of 2nd level or lower, such as Crystal Blade or Mage Armor.
