The longsword is made of a silvery material which seems thinner or thicker at certain angles. Psions may recognize it as being composed of the essence of time itself.
This +1 longsword has a blade made of pure quintessence locked in blade form. Due to this, the weapon is invulnerable to damage by itself. Bend reality and stronger abilities can effect it though, and reshape or destroy it. Due to its nature, it affects psionics within 5 ft of the weapon as if it were a collection of quintessence. Powers require twice as many power points to manifest, unless the manifester makes a successful DC 16 Will save each time he or she attempts to manifest a power. Also in these circumstances, manifesting a psi-like ability that is usable at will is a full-round action rather than a standard action.
Its main feature is its ability to lock others in time. As a coup de grace action, you can plunge the weapon into the creature. Instead of dealing damage, they instead are affected by temporal stasis (no save) as long as the blade is inside them. Only a strong pull (DC 20 Strength check) can remove the sword, removing the temporal stasis effect. That means the sword must be left behind if used in this fashion.
