This thick whip is made of five braided strands of leathery skin; red, green, blue, black, and white. The barbed tips, stylized to look like dragon heads, seem to hiss as they swing through the air.
A powerful whip granted to only the most devoted clerics of Tiamat, it possesses unusual properties. For an non-proficient user, it is merely a masterwork whip. To a proficient user its damage becomes lethal and is not stopped by how much armor or natural armor its target possesses, it threatens all within reach, can be used in melee without provoking attacks of opportunity, and is a whip +5. It also deals an additional 1d6 points of acid, cold, electricity, fire, and poison damage. The latter poison damage is negated on a creature immune to poison.
For a proficient user with either the dragonblood subtype or spontaneous arcane casting, the following options become available to them.
Fivefold Lash: The whip strands uncoil and begin moving on their own. As a full round action, the wielder can make a single attack against five different targets in range. Each attack deals 1d4 damage + 1d6 energy damage associated with the appropriate color.
Fivefold Wave: As a standard action the whip releases five breath weapons at once (one for each: acid, cold, electricity, fire, and poison) which deals 1d6 damage per 2 HD of the wielder. It is projected in a 120 ft line from the whip. Creatures get a Reflex save for half damage, DC 10 + 1/2 HD + Con modifier, and like a real breath weapon has a cooldown time of 1d4 rounds. The lines can be pointed in different directions, or focused on a single target (forcing it to make 5 saves).
Rebuke Dragons: Wielders gain 5 rebuke attempts per day, as if they were a cleric of their character level. These rebuke attempts can be used to rebuke or command creatures of the Dragon type, though both rebuking and commanding last no more than 5 hours, and dragons will certainly resent being controlled.
Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, dragon allySpC, must worship Tiamat.
