Sentient[edit]

A sentient creature possess an intelligence making it able to grasp several concepts, unlike other creatures of it kind. They can be the result of magical accident, strange cosmological events or even deliberate awakening. Some creatures possess it inherently, such as wolves born in forest which is known to bestow intelligence to animal within, or to a skeleton whose mind refused to die.

Creating a Sentient[edit]

The sentient template is either an acquired template or an inherited template, which is given to creature with an intelligence of 2 or below or who is mindless. This can be added to animals, vermin, construct or undead.

Type: If the creature was an animal it become a Magical Beast. Otherwise as the base creature.

Ability Scores: A sentient creature's Intelligence become 3.

Special Quality: A sentient creature lose the mindless trait if it had it.

Challenge Rating: +1

Level Adjustment: N/A
