This red potion suspends flecks of black and gold. The shadow it casts seems to be unusually deep.
When the shadow door oil is thrown (10 ft range increment) it produces a crimson door whose edges melt into darkness. As a free action you can touch the door, moving through it to the identical position on the Plane of Shadow. On the shadow plane, the red door floats in a miasma of white fog. The user of the oil chooses if the door is free to use for anyone, or if only certain creatures (up to 9) can pass through successfully. The door is misty and unreal for any unauthorized users.
Once in the Plane of Shadow you are free to move about, but after 1 minute after the door's creation, the door vanishes and the travelers are shunted back to the original plane. The duration also ends if a traveler attempts to go back through the door to the original plane.
This oil is often used as a quick escape to recoup, heal up, and prepare oneself.
Prerequisites: Brew Potion, shadow walk.
