Shadowbloom Armor[edit]

Shadowbloom Armor is a Cold Resistance Shadow Chain Shirt +1 whose surface is pockmarked by small waving tendrils of shadow, which almost appear like hair or fur. When a person is wearing the armor their eyes go blank and glow faintly with a pale yellow light, but they can see just fine. They gain 30 ft. darkvision, or increase their existing darkvision by 30 ft. As a swift action the user can cause the tendrils surrounding them to expand and completely cloak them and the surrounding 5 ft. radius in pitch darkness. The user gains total concealment (50% miss chance). They may see through their own darkness as if it weren't there. Anyone besides the user who begins their turn in the darkness will feel weak as their reality is sapped away, taking 2d6 points of nonlethal damage. The darkness aura lasts for 10 rounds per day. The duration of the darkness effect need not be consecutive rounds.
