5e Spell
Shout
4th-level evocation
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Self (30ft Cone)
Components: V
Duration: Instantaneous
Casters: Bard, Sorcerer, Wizard
You emit an ear-splitting yell or scream, audible out to 300ft. Each creature in a 30ft cone must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature suffers 6d8 points of Thunder damage, and if it is not immune to Thunder damage, it is also deafened. A creature that succeeds its saving throw suffers half as much damage, and is not deafened.
At the beginning of each of its turns, a creature deafened by this spell can make another Constitution saving throw, ending the condition on itself on a success.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 4th.
