The blade was always wet, water pulsing over its sharpened surface.
This enhancement surrounds the weapon in a sheathe of water that snuffs flames, passes through water easily, aids strikes, and knocks down opponents. A soak weapon deals an additional +1d4 points of damage of the same damage type as the base weapon, or +2d4 against creatures of the [Fire] subtype or otherwise made of fire. The extra damage does not apply against [Water] subtype creatures or otherwise made of water. It can be wielded normally underwater at no penalty. Projectile weapons apply this to their ammunition.
On a natural 20, the target creature must make a Reflex save DC 10 + 1/2 BAB + your attack's ability modifier or fall prone.
As a touch attack, a soak weapon can touch a mundane fire and extinguish up to a 5 ft cube of burning material.
