If your eldritch blast hits, your opponent must succeed on a Fortitude save; on a failure, the foe contracts soul burn. Even if successful, the foe is set on fire. (While blights are normally contracted in a lesser form if a subject succeeds on their Fortitude save against exposure, succeeding on a Fortitude save against this invocation will outright prevent contracting soul burn.)
