Strobe Lights
Evocation [Light]
Level: Bard 1, Cleric 1, Sorcerer 1, Wizard 1

Casting time: 1 standard action
Range: Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Targets or Effect: Four lights, all within a 10-ft radius area, and one or more creatures
Duration: 1 minute/level (D) or until discharged, see text
Saving Throw: Fortitude Partial, see text
Spell Resistance: No

No one expected the wizard's simple dancing light spell to pose a threat... until the dancing lights exploded in their faces.

This spell functions exactly as the spell dancing lights, except as noted here. As an attack action, the caster may cause one of the dancing lights to expend itself as ray of blinding, damaging light. The dancing light makes a ranged touch attack against a single creature within 30 feet, using the caster's BAB and adding the caster's casting modifier to the attack roll. A creature struck takes 1d8 damage, +1 additional damage per caster level (maximum 5). Creatures struck must also make a Fortitude save or become dazzled for 1 round/level. A successful Fortitude save negates the dazzled effect but not the damage. Once all four dancing lights have been fired as rays, the spell is discharged.
