This spell creates an almost invisible extremely thin mist in the air, it has no effect on visibility however it has the property of suppressing fire. It is impossible to start a fire, ignite an object or cast a spell with the [fire] descriptor within the area of effect. Any flames brought into the suppression mist are extinguished in 1 round. All creatures within the area also reduce any fire damage they take by 5.
