Effect[edit]

The isolation wording seems like you might only be able to get 1 location, or like you might have to spend time to get locations but the duration doesn't allow for that. Do you instantly gain as much information about the stuff within a mile of you as you could learn as if you were there? - Tarkisflux Talk 15:58, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

For lack of a better answer, I would say yes, but if there is a discrepancy between that and the actual text then I would like advice to fix it. I don't know why the isolation clause is there, really; I think it was probably supposed to just be a snapshot effect given the Instant duration and such. I can remove it if doing so would help. - TG Cid (talk) 19:20, 3 November 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, I'd probably just remove it and say something like "you gain information about the area as if you had been physically present there" or whatever. - Tarkisflux Talk 19:41, 3 November 2012 (UTC)

Instant[edit]

After a long hour of work, you get a six second flash of events all around you. Then nothing.

Are you sure this is supposed to be instant? -- Eiji-kun (talk) 15:22, 25 May 2015 (UTC)

I suppose for a level 9 spell it could be longer. Any suggestions for a duration? - TG Cid (talk) 15:27, 25 May 2015 (UTC)
Well since the casting time is so long, we can probably work on hours/level. That said I think it's be more useful if it was a shorter cast time (1 or 10 minutes) and then you could have min or 10 min/level duration. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 03:21, 26 May 2015 (UTC)

Darkness[edit]

Should this also be piercing Darkness effects like how it pierces illusions? Or is that pointless?--Stryker (talk) 01:54, 27 May 2015 (UTC)

I believe the intent was that it was covered under the blanket of "as though you have true seeing", but I can see how not being specific enough could cause discrepancies. - TG Cid (talk) 14:21, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
