Torture Room

An infernal portal appeared above the party, dropping vicious chains onto them, as devils and demons laughs filled the air.

A portal opens were you choose, and a multitude of chains drops down. Every creature in the area must resist a grapple check from the chains. The chains count as a Large creature that adds you caster level and casting ability's modifier to the grapple check. They inflict 3d4 of bludgeoning, piercing and slashing magical vile damage to anyone grappled by them in the area, repeating the process every round. In addition to this, targets are restrained in the area unless they pass the grapple check, or escape via a Strength or Escape Artist check (DC is the spell's DC). All those that pass the grapple check receive only half the damage and may escape the area, as does anyone just passing through.

Those that are killed by this spell are immediately lifted up into the portal conducting into a Lower Plane, never to be seen again. Whenever you cast this spell you may decide to cast it as a chaotic or lawful spell.
