Travelling House[edit]

The travelling house is an enchanted three story home on legs. It's foundation is a thick stone base with six legs shaped like chicken legs of some sort. Besides its unusual platform, it is otherwise a normal house for a moderately well off family, with running water and basic plumbing, a wide living room, kitchen, four bedrooms, an extra spare room, and incidentals such as closets and the attic. Whenever it moves, smoke puffs from its chimney as if it were exerting itself.

The travelling house has its own magical water supply and fires for cooking in the kitchen, but its pantry must be restocked manually. Up to four people can live in comfort with plenty of space, and more if you stick more in a single room. A bound fire elemental sits in the fireplace, and at the request of its owner (anyone in possession of the house for more than 24 hours or granted by a previous owner) it will move the house around. The house has a move speed of 40 ft. a round (can't run) or 96 miles a day, since it needs no stop to rest or sleep. The travelling house is roughly 20x20 feet wide and about 30 feet tall, composed of wooden interior walls and masonry exterior (1 foot thick, hardness 8, 90 hp, break DC 35). A basic wooden door with brass knocker stands at its front.

Moderate transmutation; CL 11th; Craft Wondrous Item, animate objects; Price 9,000 gp.
