Forged from polished brass and steel, this gauntlet seems to glow with an internal forge on its many vents. When transformed it turns your arm into a molten slag spewing cannon.
Said to be a device from the City of Brass that has a trapped magma paraelemental within, this +1 scorched iron gauntlet can be used as a normal gauntlet, but with a swift action can transform into cannon mode. As a cannon your hand vanishes and is replaced by a cannon barrel. You may fire bolts of superheated molten slag as a ranged attack, dealing 2d6 fire damage, 20/x2 critical, with a range increment of 50 ft. It may be enhanced as a normal masterwork weapon, but any enhancement bonuses increase attack bonuses as normal and damage bonuses increase the base fire damage by +1d6 points (so a +5 arm cannon deals 6d6 damage) in cannon mode. If the attack misses but hits as a touch attack, it deals minimum base damage. On a critical threat, the molten slag sticks to the user effectively catching them on fire (no save).
The cannon has a secondary fire which takes 1 round to charge and fire. At the end of the round a short range but powerful torch of flame in a 15 ft line, dealing 2d6 points of fire damage/HD of the user with a Reflex save for partial, a successful save reduces it to half (maximum 5d6 at 10 HD and beyond). The damage breaches fire resistance and hardness, and fire immunity is cut in half. It is particularly effective in cutting through unattended metal objects and you can control the flame to carve a door or other shape up to 5 ft wide and tall through 1 inch of iron. Creatures which die from this torch flame are reduced to ash at 0 hp or below.
