Conductor of Storms
Abjuration / Evocation [Electricity]
Level: Bard 4, Druid 5
Components: V, S
Casting time: 1 round
Range: Long (400 ft. + 40 ft./level)
Effect: One or more 30-ft.-long vertical lines of lightning and electric shield
Duration: Concentration
Saving Throw: Reflex half
Spell Resistance: Yes

The sky rumbled with lightning and thunder, the caster commanding it all protected in a barrier of electric fury.

This spell is similar to call lightning, calling thunderbolts from above. However you are not limited in the number of bolts you can call. Instead, you can call up to one thunderbolt for every three caster levels you possess (maximum 7 at CL 21st) which deals 3d6 damage, or 3d10 in stormy conditions, Reflex half. You must aim these thunderbolts at different targets, but may call upon an unlimited amount as long as you concentrate.

In addition, you are surrounded by an electric shield which renders you immune to electricity for the duration and has 5 hp/level on its own. Electricity damage heals the shield. While you are in the shield you are protected from attacks and have total cover, as well as being unable to target outside of the shield except through your thunderbolts. Your movement speed is cut in half, and the loud crackling gives a -20 penalty on Move Silently.

Attacking the shield with metal weapons, unarmed strikes, or natural weapons damages the shield but also shocks the attacker for 1d6 electricity damage, no save.

When the shield breaks, the spell does not end but it does render the caster vulnerable. The shield vanishes if you cease concentrating.

This spell counts as call lightning and call lightning storm for effects which augment these spells.
