Crashing Lightning
Evocation [Electricity, Sonic]
Level: Druid 7
Components: V, S
Casting time: 1 standard action
Range: Long (400 ft. + 40 ft./level)
Area: See text
Duration: Instantaneous (D)
Saving Throw: Reflex partial and Fortitude partial; see text
Spell Resistance: Yes and No; see text

A blinding flash is rapidly followed by a ground shattering BOOM!

A massive thunderbolt streams down from the sky, striking with unnatural force. The lightning bolt effects a 5 ft radius cylinder up to 1 mile high, dealing 1d10 points of electricity damage/level and stunning for 1 round with a Reflex save for partial. A successful save negates the stunning and halves the damage. If a creature is killed by this damage, they are reduced to ash.

All those outside of the thunderbolt but within a 60 ft radius are subject to 1d6 sonic damage/level and are knocked prone. A successful Fortitude save negates the prone effect and halves the damage.

If cast into a body of water, the lightning discharges an additional 20 ft radius hemisphere of lightning damage under the surface.
