Perceptive [Skill] Instead of choosing to listen for something or look for it, you can do bothPrerequisites: Spot & Listen must be class skills for you Benefits: This is a skill feat that scales with your ranks in Spot & Listen.

  • 0 ranks: Replace Spot and listen with the Perception skill on your list of class skills, all skill checks for spotting something or noticing the sound something makes are handled by the new Perception skill and you no longer need to invest points in those skills. Any points you spent on spot or listen are moved to the Perception skill and skill points over the maximum allowed for your level are now free and can be used on another skill. Additionally, you gain +3 to all Perception checks
  • 4 ranks: Any Benefits that you gain for Spot or Listen are instead gained for Perception your ranks of preception count as both skills at once for the purposes of taking prestige classes and as rank of Spot and Listen for scaling feats.
  • 9 ranks: Any time a creature would benefit from concealment from you you may make a perception check opposed by that creature’s hide check to reduce their concealment with regard to you by one step full concealment is considered partial and partial is ignored invisible creatures do no gain any bonus to their hide checks when you are attempting to spot them.
  • 14 ranks: You gain tremorsense out to 60 feet if you already had tremorsense add half the lower value to the higher creatures who attempt to hide from you take a -5 penalty on their hide checks against you even if out of range of your special senses or benefiting from the darkstalker feat or similar effects.
  • 19 ranks: you can see and hear through objects that would normally prevent you from doing so but you do so at double distance penalties, when your senses are not obstructed your perception checks have the distance at which they accrue penalties doubled.
