Addiction

You are addicted to something, and you get cranky when you can't stop the craving.

Effect: You have an addiction to a particular common substance such as alcohol, cigarettes, a particular food, or some other consumable material. Regardless of the nature of the substance you consume, it equates to having 5% less wealth by level than a normal character due to funds being used to feed your addiction.

If you are placed in a situation where you do not have easy access to the substance for more than 24 hours, you are rendered shaken until this is resolved. This effect does not stack with other fear effects, nor it is affected by immunity. In addition, after any stressful situation is resolved (such as combat), you must indulge in the substance or be rendered shaken until you get a moment to do so, an action which takes at least 1 minute.

Benefit: A Moderate bonus feat or lower for which you meet the prerequisites.
