The drake has advantage on saving throws against spells and magic effects. Magic Weapons. The drake's attacks weapon attacks are magical. Vicious. The drake's weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 18-20.  Actions Multiattack. The drake makes three attacks, only one of which may be a Bite. Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +16 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (2d10+9) piercing damage. Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +16 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d6+9) slashing damage. Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +16 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d6+9) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 22 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone  Legendary Actions The drake can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. The drake regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn. Strike. The drake makes a melee attack. Spring. The drake disengages and may move up to its speed. Tail Swipe (Costs 2 Actions). The spins lashing out with its tail. Other creatures in a 15 ft. radius of the drake must succeed on a DC 22 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

These Vicious Drakes are over 500 years old. While smaller than ancient dragons, they are massive, ranging from 50-60 feet long (nose to tail) and 15 feet tall (while on all four feet), with a mass of 10 tons.

Ancient vicious drakes subsist, partially, from the ambient magic of the weave. For the balance, they prefer to prey on Large to Gargantuan creatures.
