You overcharge the immune system of your target, which proceeds to ravage its own body in an attempt to cure itself. The target takes 1 hp of damage per HD of the target creature each round, and they are subject to runny eyes, stuffy head, and violent coughing. This effectively grants a 20% fail chance for any actions taken, as they are interrupted by their symptoms. A remove disease or greater effect can remove the effect early, as can making a successful Heal check as a 1 round action, DC equal to 15 + the manifester level of the power.

Creatures immune to magical diseases are immune to this power.

Augment: For every 2 additional power points you spend, you can add an additional target within 30 ft.

For every 2 additional power points you spend, you can increase the fail rate by 10% (maximum 50% fail rate).

By spending 4 additional power points you can change the duration to minutes/level.

In addition, for every 2 additional power points you spend to achieve any of these effects, this power’s save DC increases by 1.
