Botforged[edit]
Botforged creatures, normally mindless, gain the programmed intellect of a Bot.
With botforged, any mindless aberration or construct is a potential bot. Their heads and bodies are engraved with complex circuitry and imbued with quasi-intellect, greatly increasing their capabilities.
Creating a Botforged[edit]
This is an acquired template which can be applied to any mindless aberration or construct.
Size and Type[edit]
The creature gains the Bot subtype.
Special Qualities[edit]
The creature gains the features of the bot subtype, including possessing programs. It gains 3 programs, plus +1 for every point of Wisdom bonus it possesses.
Creation[edit]
Unlike most templates, this template can be applied onto any qualifying creature by anyone with Craft Construct and 10 ranks in Program. It costs 4000 gp in raw materials and 24 hours. Even afterwards, you must make a alter programming attempt vs a complex machine (DC 30) to activate the benefits of this template.
