Rumors of my death were only partly true.
This magical coffin has a curious function. Any living creature placed inside with the lid closed immediately kills its occupant. Their body is dead, though they do not rot while inside, though they cannot be revived while they are in the coffin. When their body is removed, they immediately return to life with no loss in level or experience.
The coffin does not return originally dead corpses to life, but it does cease any rotting and prevents raising the creature as either living or undead while they occupy the coffin.
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, raise dead, slay living.
Cost to Create: 3000 gp, 240 EXP, 6 days.
