Command Will of the Forest

I am the will of the forest. You should not be here.

You target one or more creatures of the Animal type in the area with a total amount of CR equal or less to your caster level (for example, two CR 3 and one CR 2 animal requires caster level 8). Affected creatures gain your will and desires, but you do not have any direct control over them and you cannot communicate with them unless you have some other means of expressing your will. They will act on their own to achieve whatever objective you dictate on casting this spell and any requests you do manage to communicate to them will be seen in favorable light. They will not make any suicidal actions, but may make dangerous or hostile actions on your part if they feel it is favorable for them to do so. They are considered to be Helpful to you.

While the duration runs you have an Empathic Link with any affected creatures as if they were your familiar. At any time you can concentrate and take direct control over a creature allowing you to speak through the creature and observe through the creatures senses for up to 1 round/level after which the spell ends for all animals. Direct control causes the creatures eyes to glow and is obvious.

If cast in a spell slot two levels higher the duration becomes Permanent until discharged via direct control.
