Divinity Gem[edit]

The divine spark, the mysterious essence of the gods. Held within the bodies of the divine, some long lost technique used to be able to embody the divine essence into powerful magic jewels known as divinity gems. These divinity gems hold a divine spark within them, granting its wielder a salient ability. They're very hard to find and a well kept secret, let some errant mortal gets a hand upon one.

When equipped to one's person (which does not take a body slot but must be exposed to function) the user has an effective virtual divine rank equal to the rank of the highest level divinity gem they possess. Unless otherwise stated, any divinity gem always has the minimum rank needed to use the salient ability in question, or the users if higher. Other pre-requisites for the salient ability are ignored.

If a non-epic creature attempts to use a divinity gem, they must make a DC 30 Will save each time they use it, or explode in divine radiance and die, leaving no remains.
