Drone Controller [General]
Prerequisites: Knowledge (Engineering) 4 ranks, Program 4 ranksBenefit: You gain a Nixie-1080 Cam Drone familiar as a Wizard of equal level as your ranks in Program, up to a maximum of your character level. Additionally you gain a +4 bonus on Program checks made against Nixie-1080 Cam Drones. If your Nixie-1080 Cam Drone familiar is destroyed, you may repair/replace it with 24 hours of work at no cost and you do not take any penalties for its destruction.
As a standard action, you can hear and see all auditory and visual data your drone familiar or another nixie you control can perceive for 1 round. This allows you to make Listen and Spot checks as if you were at your drone's position. While doing so you take a -4 penalties on Listen and Spot checks with your actual body because of the distraction. Finally you are able to communicate vocally through your drone. The drone must be within 1 mile of you for this ability to function.
Special: If you have a Nixie-1080 Cam Drone familiar and this feat, increase your effective wizard level by 2 for the purpose of calculating familiar benefits.
