Faustian Pact-Maker [Archetype]
Prerequisites: Dark Pact-BoundBenefit: Archetype Feat Bonus are based on HD.
- 1 HD: You gain the ability to use Profession (Barrister) instead of Bluff or Diplomacy checks, you may use your Charisma instead of your Wisdom on Profession (Barrister) checks. You also gain half of your character level as a bonus on Profession (Barrister) for the purpose of influencing devils.
- 3 HD: You gain the benefits of the Faustian Prodigy feat. Additionally, you gain a literal shoulder devil, you gain the effect of a Phylactery of Faithfulness but only in regard for actions that would violate one of your pact or harm one of your patron. The devil is only visible to you and communicate with you telepathically.
- 8 HD: When summoning devils you may make a Profession (Barrister) check equal to DC 10 + the devil's HD + the devil's Charisma modifier. If successful you only need to pay half the the agreed payment. Once per week if you beat the DC by at least 10 point you can completely void the payment.
- 15 HD: Your soul is no longer forfeit to the dark power you owe (as per Promised Soul), in fact whenever you are slain a devil of your CR is hired to resurrect you. If it succeed you owe him payment as per greater planar ally (as a day/level task), you may not attempt to reduce the payment you owe.
