Flame Witch
The flame witch were ancient practitioners of magic who practiced pyromancy. They were dedicated to the ‘flame’ as a patron. While the flame witch eventually burned themselves away, some of their descendants still persist. This is meant as a fire-based alternative to the winter witch.
Class: Witch
Level: 1st, 4th, 12th
Replaces: Patron, Hex (4th, 12th)
Benefit: A flame witch gain access to the following benefits
Cantrip: A flame witch adds ember to her spell list, but does not automatically learn this cantrip.
Patron: A flame witch must choose between the healing, light, summer, transformation or wisdom patrons or the unique flame patron. The flame patron is an exclusive patron only available to the flame witch:
- Flames: 2nd— burning disarm; 4th— scorching ray; 6th— fireball; 8th— pyrotechnic eruption; 10th— blue flare; 12th— furious fire barrage; 14th— fire storm; 16th— incendiary cloud; 18th— meteor swarm
Fire Magic (Ex): When a flame witch casts a spell with the fire descriptor, the save DC of the spell increases by +1. A flame witch cannot learn or cast spells with the cold descriptor at all.
Pyromancy (Su): A 1st level flame witch gain the ability to use the basic pyrokinesis wild talent. At 4th level she gain the ability to replicate produce flame as a spell-like ability at-will.
This ability replaces the witch’s 4th-level hex.
Flames of Chaos (Su): A 12th level flame witch is capable of channeling inherently chaotic flames. Any fire damage dealt by her hex or her witch spells ignores fire resistance and are only halves by immunity. Additionally, any fire damage dealt by your hex or witch spells ignores hardness less than your caster level. Additionally spells If she cast a spell with the [fire] descriptor and it fails to bypass spell resistance, it deals half damage instead of being negated.
This ability replaces the 12th-level hex.
