Foot Trap
Conjuration (Creation)
Level: Druid 1

Effect: One foot trap
Duration: 10 minutes/level (D) until discharged
Saving Throw: Reflex partial

The fighter charged but was suddenly held in place. His foot was stuck!

This creates a barely visible "bear trap" that sinks partly into the ground, taking up a 5 ft square. Any creature that moves over the square within 5 ft must make a Reflex save or have their movement halted and all movement speeds set to 0 ft for 1 round. On a successful save they are not trapped, but the ground is considered difficult terrain and can still disrupt charges.

Magic traps such as foot trap are hard to detect and disable. A character with trapfinding can use the Search skill to find a foot trap and Disable Device to thwart it. The DC in each case is 25 + spell level (DC 26).
