A shimmering glowing orb appeared and begin orbiting you. With a thought, you set it still in front of your body and proceed to shoot lasers out from the orb at your opponents.
You create a "force bit" which orbits the target. The target can activate their force bit as an attack action and fire off a bolt of force as if it were a ranged projectile weapon, dealing 1d4 + your ability modifier in force damage with a 20/x2 critical. This is a normal attack ranged roll, but you may use either your BAB and Dex, or your caster level as your BAB and your casting ability modifier. It has a range increment of 30 ft. For the purposes of interacting with other feats and abilities, it is a light ranged projectile weapon.
Each shot you make with the force bit reduces the duration by 1 minute. If the duration is depleted, the force bit vanishes.
In addition to acting as a projectile weapon, it takes up position around your body. As a swift action you can assign it one of the following stances and gain it's benefit as long as the force bit exists:
Active Defense: When in this position you cannot attack with your force bit. However you gain cover, and a +2 on initiative rolls.
Forward: An useful defensive position, the orb offers you soft cover.
Orbiting: The base use of the force bit, it keeps opponents on their toes. You do not provoke attacks of opportunity for firing the force bit in melee, threaten out to your normal reach with the force bit.
Rear Guard: Another defensive stance, the orb protects you from being surrounded by watching your back. Creatures do not gain flanking bonuses against you, and you benefit from uncanny dodge.
Material Component: Two small magnetic balls.
