Strange earrings with large crystal orbs, when worn they do nothing unusual. It requires one earring each to be worn by two people within 100 ft of each other to function. When this is true (and the creatures are of the same general body type), they are subject to the fusion power, immediately closing the distance between each other and fusing in the middle. Donning the earrings properly takes a standard action instead of a move action.
The fusion cannot be canceled prematurely and is unaffected by dispel and magical suppression, but at the end of 15 minutes the fusion naturally ends. Rumors persist of "cursed" versions who permanently fuse their members, but such objects may be artifacts and are not sold.
When the fusion ends, the earrings break. The permanent version supposedly do not break.
Prerequisites: Craft Universal Item, fusion.
