Geisha

About as historically accurate to real Geisha as the monk is to real monks , this alternate class feature is for oriental flavored bard. Geisha lack the ability to cast in armor but receive multiple class features to make up for it.

Class: Bard

Level: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th, 9th, 12th, 15th, 18th

Replaces: Bardic Knowledge, Weapon and Armor Proficiency. If you are using the Codex Bard it also change Seduction.

Benefit: A geisha gain the following class features:

Alignment Restriction: A geisha, unlike a bard can be of any non-chaotic alignment.

Weapon Proficiency: A geisha is proficient with all simple weapons, plus the battle sling, bladed fan, combat parasol, dragon claw, jian, kama, katana (bastard sword), net, nunchaku, sai, seven-branched sword, shuriken, siangham, wakizashi (short sword). A geisha is not proficient with any armor or shield and unlike a normal bard she still suffer arcane spell failure in light armor.

AC Bonus: When wearing no armor and not using any shields, a geisha add her charisma modifier to her armor class. Any time a geisha would be denied her dexterity to AC she lose that bonus.

Careful Performance: A Geisha's performance is full of strict protocols, she must use a full-round action to start using her bardic music and concentrate on it. If using the codex bard she must take a move action to concentrate on her bardic music, at 7th level she may start her bardic music as a standard action and a move action at 14th.

Geisha's Insight: A geisha gain a special form of bardic knowledge, it behave exactly like bardic knowledge except it is used to see whether she knows some relevant information about calligraphy, court intrigues, nobles and their bloodlines, notable locals and various herbs and tea brews.

Tea Ceremony: A geisha can prepare a special tea ceremony with 5 minutes of work, after doing so every participants (including herself) benefits from one of her available bardic music (such as inspire courage, inspire greatness or others) for 1 hour afterward. The tea ceremony last for a minimum of 10 minutes and cost the Geisha 1 bardic music use for the day for each participating creature (including herself) and require a DC 15 perform (tea ceremony) check. If the ceremony is interrupted or the check fail the no participant gain any benefits from the ceremony but the Geisha do not lose her bardic music uses.

Poison Use: At 1st level a geisha gain poison use, as the assassin ability.

Seduction: A 2nd level geisha gain seduce to learn ability. At 7th level gathering information that way allow her to analyse the weaknesses of her target and allow her to exploit them, she can make a death attack (as the assassin class feature) against any creatures she successfully used her seduce to learn ability on.

Scribe Scroll: At 2nd level a Geisha gain the scribe scroll feat as a bonus feat.
